Yayasan Palin Genesia is a christian foundation established in Jakarta - Indonesia. Palin Genesia is a Greek term. In the bible it is used twice, in Matthew 19:28 and in Titus 3:5. In King James version palin genesia is translated as regeneration. In Matthew 19:28 palin genesia refers to the future, when The Son of Man sits on his glorious throne. It points to the coming of new heavens and a new earth (see 2 Peter 3:13 and Revelation 21:1-5). In Titus 3:5, however, palin genesia points to the inner cleansing and renewal of the human nature by The Holy Spirit. Through this "palin genesia", mankind's spiritual condition is transformed from a disposition of sin to one of a new relation with God. Praise the Lord, this is happening here and now.

MISSION

Our mission is to support Indonesian pastors, evangelists and theology students of insufficient means, to enable them to fully concentrate on their calling.

RAISON D'ETRE OF OUR MISSION

The vast majority of our pastors, with academic degrees, have to live with an average monthly income of less than US $ 70.--. For comparison, the monthly income of an average employee in the private sector with comparable qualifications, is around US $ 400.-- to US$ 1000.--. Furthermore many theology students, from families of insufficient means, often can not sustain payments of their study fees and thus face the danger of having to untimely end their study.

BASIC OBJECTIVES

To provide monthly financial support to 20 full-time pastors, 20 theology students and 20 pastors emeritus.

BASIC WORK PROGRAM

• Identification and selection of pastors and theology students who meet the criteria set
• Fund raising
• Provide the required aid in accordance with prevailing financial capability
